Hamyang Sansam Festival Showcases Clean and Healthy Agricultural and Specialty Products

Information Session Held for 26 Agricultural Producers and Food Processing Companies During Festival Period

An explanatory meeting for participating companies is being held to operate the agricultural specialty products sales center at the Hamyang Wild Ginseng Festival.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam held a briefing session for participating companies on the operation of the 2022 Hamyang Sansam Festival agricultural specialty product sales booth at the Hamyang-gun Agricultural Technology Center on the 11th.

At the briefing, a comprehensive explanation was given regarding the operation of the sales booth and quarantine measures in preparation for the spread of COVID-19, along with a booth lottery.

Additionally, education was provided on seller compliance matters such as origin and food labeling, and courteous service for visitors.

At the Hamyang Sansam Festival, held from September 2 to 11, a total of 26 participants including farmers and agricultural food processing companies will showcase a variety of healthy foods produced in the clean Jirisan area, such as apples, bitter melon, honey, Hangwa (traditional Korean sweets), and bugak (fried vegetable chips).

Moreover, on weekends and during the Chuseok holiday, a delivery service will be provided to the Yeomgiseong Tansanap parking lot to enhance visitor convenience.

A county official stated, “Through the operation of the agricultural specialty product sales booth during the festival, we expect to widely promote Hamyang’s excellent agricultural specialty products and help increase farmers’ income and revitalize the local economy.”

Meanwhile, the 17th Hamyang Sansam Festival, held for 10 days from September 2 at Sangnim Park, will be themed “Hi-Sansam! Supporting Your Youth.” It will be composed of nine themes including the Sansam Hall, Specialty Products Hall, Picnic Playground, Market Street, Sansam Forest, Immortality Food Zone, various experience booths, Nightscape Zone, and Post Expo, offering visitors healing and health.
