KB Capital Donates Daily Necessities to Low-Income Descendants of Independence Activists on Gwangbokjeol


[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] KB Capital announced on the 12th that it donated 40 million KRW to the Milal Welfare Foundation to support low-income descendants of independence activists in celebration of the 77th Liberation Day.


This sponsorship is a donation made in honor of Liberation Day. Together with the Milal Welfare Foundation, the Independence Activists Association and organizations, and the Postwar Association, KB Capital plans to deliver kits containing various eco-friendly daily necessities such as natural shower towels, vegan dish soap, and hemp dishcloths, along with rural love gift certificates, to 400 low-income households of independence activists' descendants.


Hwang Su-nam, CEO of KB Capital, stated, "We understand that many descendants of independence activists are facing difficulties in their livelihoods. Through this donation, we aim to reflect on the meaning of dedication and sacrifice for the country and honor their noble spirit. We plan to deliver the ‘KB For Heroes’ kits with heartfelt respect to the proud descendants of independence activists." He added, "Going forward, KB Capital will continue efforts to remember the patriotism and dedication of independence activists and will do its best as a socially responsible company."
