Recruitment of Individuals and Groups Wishing to Establish by the 26th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A Village Enterprise Academy aimed at discovering and nurturing village enterprises suited to local characteristics will be held in Ulsan.
The Ulsan City government is recruiting applicants until the 26th for the "2022 Ulsan City 27th Village Enterprise Academy," targeting citizens (individuals or groups) who wish to establish village enterprises. The academy provides introductory education before establishing a village enterprise.
The program will be held on September 1st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. as a 7-hour course in the large conference room on the 5th floor of the Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency, and participation is free of charge.
The curriculum covers understanding village enterprises, business models, excellent cases of village enterprises, and how to write business plans, providing comprehensive education on village enterprises.
Even after the academy ends, consulting and continuous mentoring for commercialization and preparation for public contests will be available for the certified groups.
Applications are open to teams composed of five or more residents or investment corporations wishing to establish a village enterprise.
To apply, download the application form from the news section of the city hall website and submit it via email or visit the Village Enterprise Support Team at the Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency. Recruitment is on a first-come, first-served basis for 50 participants.

A village enterprise is a business that utilizes local resources to generate income and jobs while realizing the benefits of the local community. It is designated annually by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and there are currently 60 village enterprises operating in Ulsan.
