'Car-Specialized Financial Information Platform' Hyundai Capital Application Revamp

New Features Added Including DSR Calculator and Car Purchase Limit

'Car-Specialized Financial Information Platform' Hyundai Capital Application Revamp

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hyundai Capital announced on the 12th that it has revamped its application into an 'automobile-specialized financial information platform' featuring various functions such as a Debt Service Ratio (DSR) calculator and car purchase limit inquiry.

The most notable feature in the Hyundai Capital app revamp is the DSR calculator. It not only provides accurate DSR (%) calculations but also informs users of the estimated loan amounts available by loan type (credit, mortgage) and financial sector (banks, secondary financial institutions) tailored to individual customer situations. This service automatically retrieves information from Korea Credit Bureau (KCB), enhancing convenience by eliminating the need for customers to input data separately to calculate their DSR. Additionally, it includes a function that allows customers to add or modify loan details not available through KCB data, improving accuracy.

Functions as an automobile-specialized platform have also been incorporated. The car purchase limit feature recommends vehicles that can be purchased within the customer's exact loan limit and additionally provides engaging content such as ▲limit levels compared to peers ▲popular car models among peers.

A Hyundai Capital representative stated, "Generally, when purchasing a new car, people consider interest rates and monthly installments, but there was no precise way to know if they could buy the desired car without strain." They added, "With the car purchase limit feature, customers can plan a solid car purchase based on their available funds."

Other features include the 'Used Car Multi-Price' function, which allows customers to compare their vehicle’s market price at a glance from three major domestic used car dealers (Hyundai Glovis, AutoHub Selcar, AutoHands) simply by entering their vehicle number. The app also gathers various mobility lifestyle information?from short-term rentals to electric vehicle charging and car accessories?and provides 'Mobility Partnership Benefits' for affordable use.

Hyundai Capital stated, "Since launching Hyundai Capital App 2.0 in March, which included the automobile-specialized MyData service and the industry's first chatbot service, we have continuously added functions necessary from the user's perspective." They concluded, "Going forward, the Hyundai Capital app will establish itself as an essential 'automobile-specialized financial information' platform for every moment with cars, from purchase to management and used car sales."
