[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jaehee] On Friday the 12th, due to the influence of a stationary front, rain will fall mainly in the Jeolla region, as well as in the Chungcheong region, southern areas, and Jeju Island.

The expected rainfall continuing from the previous day is 20?70mm in the Jeolla region (with some areas exceeding 100mm). Especially in the Jeolla region, strong rain of 30?50mm per hour accompanied by gusts and thunder and lightning will occur until the morning, so caution is needed to prevent rain damage.

During the same period, 5?40mm of rain will fall in the Chungcheong region, Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island, while light drizzle below 0.1mm will scatter in southern Gyeonggi and southern Gangwon.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be 19?26°C, and the daytime high temperature 29?34°C.

In the inland southern Chungcheong, southern regions, and Jeju Island, the highest perceived temperature will rise to around 33?35°C, making it very hot. Tropical nights will also appear in some areas, mainly in the southern regions.

Fine dust concentration will be at 'Good' to 'Moderate' levels across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effect of precipitation.

Until morning, fog with visibility less than 1 km will occur mainly in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Yeongseo, so traffic safety should be observed.

In the West Sea and East Sea, gusts accompanied by thunder and lightning will occur, so caution is needed for maritime safety accidents.

Waves at sea will be 0.5?1.5m in the coastal waters of all seas.

Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5?2.0m in the East Sea, 0.5?1.5m in the West Sea, and 0.5?2.5m in the South Sea.
