Discussion on Major Agricultural Policy Projects and Securing National and Local Government Funding

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province held a meeting with Lee Chun-duk, Chair of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Affairs Committee of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council, at the Agricultural Technology Center conference room.
This meeting, held to ensure the smooth promotion of major agricultural policy projects in Hamyang-gun and to secure national and provincial funding, was attended by Lee Chun-duk, a member of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council's Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Affairs Committee, Seo Yang-kwon, Head of the Eco-friendly Agriculture Division of Gyeongnam Province, the Director of Hamyang-gun Agricultural Technology Center, and managers and staff from three departments.
During the meeting, discussions were held on development plans for agriculture and rural areas in Hamyang-gun, explanations of major projects requiring national and provincial funding for 2023, listening to difficulties and suggestions regarding current projects, and exploring solutions.
Councilor Lee Chun-duk stated, “I will make every effort to actively review and reflect the suggestions once again to ensure sustainable development of Hamyang-gun agriculture and the management stability of farmers.”
Hamyang-gun continues to strengthen agricultural competitiveness and increase farm income through various supports such as the agricultural and fishery workers’ allowance support project, organic fertilizer support project, new fruit crop cultivation project, and agricultural machinery support project.
