Financial Services Commission Chairman Kim Ju-hyun and Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon held a meeting on the morning of the 11th at Seoul City Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul.

According to the Financial Services Commission on the 11th, Chairman Kim and Mayor Oh held a meeting at Seoul City Hall that morning.

Chairman Kim and Mayor Oh discussed financial support measures, including the New Start Fund, to sufficiently assist small business owners and self-employed individuals who have been struggling due to the COVID-19 damages over the past two years, followed by recent high interest rates and high inflation.

The Financial Services Commission and Seoul City agreed to jointly seek reasonable alternatives to address concerns and worries that may arise regarding financial support measures. They also decided to strengthen cooperation between financial authorities and local governments to ensure that support measures to robustly assist small business owners and self-employed individuals are implemented without any setbacks.
