Goal to Provide Optimal LED Illumination Solutions

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT announced on the 11th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pine Technics, a KOSDAQ-listed company, for digital transformation (DX) of golf courses.
KT and Pine Technics will mutually cooperate on advancing the golf course LED lighting solution business, including ▲platform construction and enhancement ▲product development and supply ▲joint marketing. KT will be responsible for platform construction and integration, while Pine Technics will handle the development and supply of integrated products.
KT plans to provide golf course digital transformation (DX) services by preparing an LED lighting solution with Pine Technics, a specialized LED lighting company, that enables optimal illumination and remote control considering time of day and weather conditions.
KT expects that the LED lighting solution prepared through this cooperation will not only improve golf course operational efficiency but also enhance customer satisfaction through optimal lighting environments and create a high-quality turf growth environment by supplying uniform light, thereby benefiting overall golf course operations.
Kim Byung-kyun, Head of KT Device Business Division (Executive Director), said, “Through cooperation with Pine Technics, we will provide innovative customer experiences in the golf course lighting sector,” adding, “We will continue to create golf course digital transformation (DX) services and contribute to KT’s growth as a Digico.”
