[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan Northern Fire Station will operate a future firefighter experience program for five middle school students in Buk-gu for three days from the 9th to the 11th.
The program was prepared to help teenagers dreaming of becoming firefighters increase their understanding of the firefighter profession through meetings and communication with firefighters, as well as firefighting experiences, to assist in career and job selection.
The experience includes ▲ introduction to the appointment process of firefighting officers and a mock physical fitness test ▲ wearing firefighting equipment such as fire-resistant suits ▲ basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation training ▲ tours of fire trucks and life rescue equipment.
One student who participated in the program said, "It was a great time to feel the process and physical requirements to become a firefighter and to experience the daily life and equipment of firefighters."
Kim Gyu-ju, head of the Northern Fire Station, said, "We tried to provide practical information and various field experience programs to become a firefighting officer," adding, "We hope it will help teenagers in choosing their careers who will lead future society."
