[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] TFJ, an eco-friendly water-repellent processing specialized venture company, announced on the 10th that it achieved results beyond expectations from overseas buyers by participating in the '2022 FFF (Functional Fabric Fair 2022)' held recently at the Javits Center in New York, USA.
FFF, organized by 'Performance Days,' the premier functional materials and products exhibition based in Munich, Germany, targets CEOs, designers, and product development executives of apparel companies worldwide, as well as buyers from the Americas. It is one of the world's most prestigious functional fabric exhibitions held annually in Portland and New York, USA. This year, 66 companies from the USA, Germany, Switzerland, France, the UK, Korea, Taiwan, and other countries participated.
At the '2022 FFF' in the USA, TFJ is a strong small and medium enterprise in the textile tech field equipped with the eco-friendly non-fluorine water-repellent processing technology brand 'BluRoji' and the flame-retardant fiber brand 'Materium.' TFJ formed a strategic partnership with CTT, a US technology marketing specialist company, including the global sales license and joint marketing development of TRIZAR, a new material product incorporating NASA technology. TFJ also secured shares in Grutex, CTT's Korean partner company, which is expected to expand not only the domestic outdoor market but also the global market.
Jin Eui-gyu, CEO of TFJ, said, "We showcased our flagship product lines such as BluRoji and Materium to the global market, attracting many buyers and key stakeholders from the Americas and English-speaking regions to our booth, especially showing great interest in cutting-edge materials." He added, "We conducted in-depth consultations and supply negotiations with numerous companies including the US fashion brand Coach and others in the USA and Canada."
TFJ plans to increase its product lines incorporating various multifunctionalities with an eco-friendly concept and expand its sales network based on the achievements gained from participating in this exhibition.
