[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] SPC Group's Dunkin announced on the 10th that its large-sized coffee "King Size Iced Americano," which was first introduced last month, has surpassed cumulative sales of 40,000 cups in just over a month since its launch.
The King Size Iced Americano, a large 24-ounce size, can be purchased for an additional 1,000 KRW on top of the regular iced Americano price.
Since its release last month, it currently accounts for more than 20% of the total coffee menu sales at Dunkin. Dunkin plans to expand the sales of this product to nationwide stores within this month.
Meanwhile, in April 2009, Dunkin established the largest roasting factory in the country in Eumseong, Chungbuk, becoming the first domestic brand to do so.
