[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Joo Ho-young, the emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party who took office the day before, stated on the morning of the 10th, "I am making efforts to contact Representative Lee Jun-seok in various ways."

Chairman Joo made this remark when asked by reporters in front of the National Assembly main building whether he was in contact with Representative Lee.

According to political circles, Representative Lee plans to file an electronic lawsuit for a provisional injunction to suspend the effectiveness of the party's transition to an emergency committee system at the Seoul Southern District Court on the morning of the same day. Earlier, on the 9th, just before the approval of Chairman Joo's appointment at the National Committee meeting, Representative Lee expressed his intention to file for a provisional injunction on Facebook.

Chairman Joo intends to focus on appointing emergency committee members on the first day of the emergency committee. He emphasized that the top priority is the swift launch of the emergency committee, saying, "(Recommendations for emergency committee members) are coming in, and today I plan to focus on that work."

He added, "We will not immediately make contact (regarding personnel), but gather candidates, listen to various opinions, and then make decisions. It is better to do this as soon as possible." Political circles expect the outline of the emergency committee appointments to be revealed by the weekend at the latest.

Regarding the nature of the emergency committee and the suggestion to do it "right after the regular National Assembly session or before," he said, "If that is the case, then a fair election commission should be formed instead," indicating no intention for a 'management-type emergency committee.'
