At 415 Directly Managed and Partner AS Service Centers Nationwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Renault Korea Motors announced on the 10th that it will carry out a special support campaign to provide repair cost assistance and free towing services to customers whose vehicles were flooded or damaged due to recent heavy rains. In addition, a special discount on the SM6 will be offered for affected customers who need to purchase a new vehicle.
This special support campaign will be conducted until September at 415 Renault Korea Motors direct and partner AS service centers nationwide. Customers of Renault Korea Motors who suffered vehicle flooding or damage due to recent heavy rains can receive full coverage of the deductible when repairing through insurance, and even for paid repairs (non-insurance), they can receive discounts of up to 20% on labor costs and up to 25% on parts prices depending on the vehicle's year of release.
For repair costs exceeding the vehicle value compensated by the insurance company during insurance repairs, customers can also receive overlapping discounts through Renault Korea Motors' ‘My Car Love Repair Cost Support Program.’ By using Renault Korea Motors' free towing service for accident vehicles, customers can receive free towing to the nearest service center.
Additionally, if the victim of the recent heavy rain or their spouse purchases an SM6 vehicle by the end of August, a special discount of 200,000 KRW will be provided. (However, SE trim is excluded.) The SM6 was selected as the target vehicle for this special discount because it can be delivered quickly within one month after contract. To receive the special discount benefit, submission of a ‘Damage Confirmation Certificate’ issued by the town, township, or neighborhood head or a ‘Total Loss Certificate for Automobile’ issued by the General Insurance Association is required. If the spouse of the victim makes the purchase, a family relationship verification document proving the family relationship must also be submitted.
Kim Taejun, Head of Sales and Marketing at Renault Korea Motors, said, “We quickly decided on this special support campaign to help customers affected by the sudden heavy rain,” and added, “Renault Korea Motors will continue to empathize with customers’ inconveniences and respond promptly to actively provide assistance.”
