[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] SK Signet, an electric vehicle charging company invested by SK Inc., will showcase its latest electric vehicle chargers at an electric car racing event.

SK Signet announced on the 10th that it will participate as a sponsor of the '2022 Hana Bank Seoul E-Prix & Seoul Festa' and provide an opportunity to experience ultra-fast electric vehicle charging.

At the Seoul Festa brand zone set up opposite the Jamsil Main Stadium, they will exhibit standard products ranging from 7kw slow chargers to 100kw, 175kw, and 350kw chargers, as well as products from major clients such as EA (Electrify America), EVgo, and LG.

In addition to chargers for charging stations, visitors can also see V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) products that enable mobile charging services and portable charger products. SK Signet will also hold an event providing prepaid electric vehicle charging cards and ultra-fast charging cables.

SK Signet, incorporated as a subsidiary of SK Inc. last year, holds over 50% market share in the ultra-fast charging market in the United States, ranking first. It owns 19 technical patents domestically and internationally and is gaining attention at home and abroad for its leading and stable ultra-fast charging technology.

Using SK Signet’s ultra-fast chargers, one minute of charging allows driving 32 km, and 20 minutes of charging can fill over 80% of the battery.

Shin Jeong-ho, CEO of SK Signet, said, "As an electric vehicle infrastructure provider for a sustainable future, we set up a promotional booth to help people understand electric vehicle charging and to promote the convenience of ultra-fast charging." He added, "By solving the biggest obstacle to purchasing electric vehicles?the charging issue?we plan to contribute to the spread of electric vehicles."
