Providing Convenience for Customers in Busan Area with High Aging Population
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] BNK Busan Bank fully implemented the ‘ATM Senior Screen Service’ on the 8th to enhance the convenience of senior customers using automated machines.
Since June 7, the ‘ATM Senior Screen Service’ was piloted on some ATMs, and due to high response from senior customers, it was decided to implement it fully.
This service adds a senior-exclusive main screen to existing ATMs, placing transactions frequently used by senior customers as the main menu, and improves visibility by using large fonts and simple terms.
In particular, it is designed so that branches can switch the ATM main screen to the senior screen themselves, allowing customized services according to the characteristics of each branch.
Son Byung-wook, Head of Information Development at Busan Bank, said, “This service was prepared to minimize the inconvenience of senior customers using ATMs in an environment where non-face-to-face transactions are increasing,” and added, “We will continue to introduce digital devices and strive to make it easy for financially marginalized groups to use the machines.”
