[Asia Economy Reporter Eunju Lee] The Korea Inclusive Finance Agency announced on the 9th that it held an awards ceremony for the Inclusive Finance Video Contest.
The contest was held for about two months starting in May this year. Out of a total of 29 videos submitted on the themes of winning stories of inclusive finance users, introduction of the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency, and introduction of inclusive finance and non-financial services, 10 videos were selected as winners.
The total prize money for the Inclusive Finance Video Contest is 6.7 million KRW. The judging criteria consisted of relevance to the theme, originality, applicability, and completeness, and evaluations were conducted by three experts from the agency and external professionals, along with a public online vote.
The grand prize-winning work, "The Answer is the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency!", focused on the Youth Sunshine Loan and Worker Sunshine Loan, creatively and entertainingly addressing financial concerns that young people, university students, and early career workers may face in daily life with a youthful sensibility.
Lee Jaeyeon, President of the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency, said, "Many low-income and vulnerable groups find the various financial support programs of the government, local governments, and public institutions difficult to understand," adding, "Through communicative promotions like this video contest with the public, we will strive to inform the public about inclusive finance support programs in an easy and friendly manner from the public’s perspective."
