Tap Dance Performance by the Makers of 'Swing Kids'! Korea Tap Orchestra 'All That Rhythm' Korea Tap Orchestra 'All That Rhythm' held at City Hall Daejam Hall on August 20th at 7 PM.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Pohang Cultural Foundation will hold the Korea Tap Orchestra "All That Rhythm" on August 20th at 7 PM at the City Hall Daejam Hall as part of the "2022 Culture Sharing Project with Arts Centers Across the Country."


The "Culture Sharing Project with Arts Centers Across the Country" is a project promoted by the Korea Arts & Culture Centers Association to provide various cultural and artistic programs to residents in all regions nationwide, creating opportunities for cultural enjoyment and contributing to the revitalization of arts centers. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Council, with part of the project funding supported by the Arts Promotion Fund.


Korea Tap Orchestra "All That Rhythm" is a production by Yono Company and performed by the Korea Tap Orchestra. It was selected as an "Excellent Performance Program by Private Art Groups" in the Culture Sharing Project with Arts Centers Across the Country.


Korea Tap Orchestra "All That Rhythm" is a tap dance concert created by the tap dance production team of the movie "Swing Kids" and the original musical "Rogisu."

This work features Korea's leading skilled tap dancers, a live band, and a blend of traditional Korean music (gugak) and pansori, capturing the charm of both Eastern and Western cultures. Audiences can experience the dynamic rhythms and appeal of tap dance, with all pieces performed live. It is an interactive performance where the audience becomes the conductor, consisting of a total of 12 programs ranging from unaccompanied rhythm tap solos to collaborative stages of pansori and tap dance.


A representative of Pohang Cultural Foundation said, "Korea Tap Orchestra 'All That Rhythm' is a performance that anyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy," adding, "We hope this exciting tap dance performance will help everyone beat the summer heat."


Tickets for the performance are priced at 20,000 KRW for all seats, with a special discounted price of 15,000 KRW for Pohang citizens. Additionally, various discounts ranging from 20% to 30% are available. Tickets can be purchased through the Pohang Cultural Foundation website and Ticketlink.
