[Special Stock] NCSoft Likely to Collaborate with Amazon on Global Service... Up 6% Intraday

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] NCSoft is showing an upward trend following news that it is pursuing global business collaboration for its next title TL with Amazon.

At 3:12 PM on the 9th, NCSoft was trading at 413,000 KRW, up 6% from the previous trading day. This came after news broke that Amazon Games, Amazon's gaming subsidiary, would handle the distribution of TL in North America and Europe.

According to a media report on the same day, Amazon and NCSoft are in discussions for a global distribution partnership for TL, and the possibility of collaboration is considered high. 'TL' is a multiplatform MMORPG that NCSoft began developing in 2017. It initially started development under the name 'Lineage Eternal' in 2013, but during development, the overall production director, the underlying engine, and the project naming were all changed, and it is planned to be released as a new game.
