[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) will hold the "9th FSS Financial Academy Advanced Course" for the general public on the 29th and 30th of this month.
The FSS Financial Academy is divided into general and advanced courses. The general course is offered monthly to provide basic knowledge about the financial market. The advanced course is held once a year and features financial lectures by experts from academia and industry.
This advanced course is designed as a specialized lecture series for an in-depth understanding of the latest financial issues and capital markets. Topics include finance and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), big data analysis techniques and applications, domestic macroeconomic finance and global financial market analysis, understanding the private equity fund system, and overseas stock investment.
The target participants are 100 people nationwide, including the general public and university students. If the number of applicants exceeds the limit, selection will be based on criteria such as the number of times participants have attended general and advanced courses, the number of absences after application, and the order of application submission. Applications can be made through the FSS e-Financial Education Center website.
The FSS stated that it will continue efforts to provide convenient and substantial specialized financial lectures for learners in the future.
