[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun announced on the 9th that it will conduct the "2022 Community Health Survey" from the 16th to October 31.
The "Community Health Survey," conducted annually since 2008, is a nationally approved statistical survey carried out nationwide under Article 4 of the Regional Health Act. It is designed to produce health statistics suitable for the regional characteristics of residents and to be used for establishing regional health care plans and promoting health projects.
The survey targets approximately 900 adults aged 19 or older among household members of sample households randomly selected by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency using statistical methods to represent the respective region.
The survey will be conducted by five investigators selected by the county, who will visit the sample households in person and conduct one-on-one interviews with the subjects using tablet PCs.
In accordance with survey execution guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19, both investigators and subjects will perform hand sanitization, wear masks, and undergo temperature checks during the survey.
The survey questions cover 138 items across 19 areas, including health behaviors, chronic diseases, physical activity, and quality of life. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, physical measurements and blood pressure measurements will not be conducted.
A health center official stated, "The survey data will be used as important basic data serving as a standard for carrying out health projects," and added, "We ask households selected as survey targets to actively participate when investigators visit."
