[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] Jeon In-ji (28), the runner-up of the AIG Women's Open, has re-entered the 'Top 10'.
In the weekly women's golf world rankings officially announced on the 8th (local time), she received 5.40 points, rising one spot from 11th place last week to 10th place. The day before, at the East Lothian Muirfield (par 71) in Scotland, the final major of this year's LPGA Tour, the AIG Women's Open (total prize money $7.3 million), she fought a fierce 4th playoff against Ashley Bouchard (South Africa) and finished as runner-up.
Ko Jin-young (27) remains 1st, Minjee Lee (Australia) 2nd, Nelly Korda (USA) 3rd, Lydia Ko (New Zealand) 4th, Brooke Henderson (Canada) 5th, Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand) 6th, and Lexi Thompson (USA) 7th, with no changes in the 'Top 7'. South Korea's Kim Hyo-joo (27) is 8th, Kim Se-young (29) 12th, and Park In-bee (34) 13th. The country's number one, Park Min-ji (24), dropped three spots to 18th. Bouchard, who achieved her first career victory at the AIG Women's Open, soared 57 places to 27th.
