Gyeongnam Jeongbodae Holds LINC3.0 Project Sharing and Collaboration Workshop Participants of the Gyeongnam Information University LINC3.0 Project Sharing and Collaboration Workshop.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Dooyul] Gyeongnam Information University held a LINC3.0 Project Sharing and Collaboration Workshop over two days on the 5th and 6th at the Stanford Hotel in Tongyeong.


The LINC3.0 project is a follow-up to the "Social Customized Industry-Academia Cooperation Leading College (LINC+) Development Project."


Since March 2022 until February 2028, the university receives 2 billion KRW annually in government funding to operate programs based on collaboration with companies for industry-academia-research cooperation, including workforce development and corporate value creation.


The workshop was the first event where three universities?Gyeongnam Information University, Dongwon Institute of Science and Technology, and Masan University?gathered to share and collaborate on the LINC 3.0 project, with about 30 participants attending.


The event began with sharing Gyeongnam Information University's LINC+ project performance and case studies, followed by introductions of the LINC 3.0 projects from the three universities, and discussions on ICC and shared equipment operation center collaboration.


Gyeongnam Information University plans to focus on building an innovative industry-academia-research cooperation ecosystem based on securing a total of 12 billion KRW in government funding, fostering future industry talents in new industries and new technology fields, and strengthening shared and collaborative industry-academia cooperation systems.


Im Junwoo, head of the Gyeongnam Information University project group, said, "We held this event as the first step to share excellent cases among the three universities and to establish a collaborative system for industry-academia-research cooperation while carrying out the LINC3.0 project," adding, "I hope it will help the successful execution of the projects at the three universities."
