The event will be attended by 12 vocational education experts and related public officials.
The Vocational Education Development Council was established under the "Ordinance on the Activation of Vocational Education by the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education," enacted last February.
The council consists of 12 vocational education experts from the Office of Education, local governments, vocational high schools, and regional companies, and performs various roles such as deliberation on the establishment and coordination of major vocational education policies of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.
Council members will receive an interim report on the mid-term development plan for vocational education of the Busan Office of Education and provide opinions on the future direction of vocational education at the Busan Office of Education, including ways to strengthen the employment capabilities of vocational high school students.
Lee Jae-han, Director of the Future Talent Education Division at the Busan Office of Education, said, "We will heed the advice of the council members for the development of our vocational education and implement vocational education that enables our students to achieve a happy life."
