WooriFIS Hosts the '2022 Coding Festival'

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori FIS announced on the 8th that it will hold the '2022 Woori Coding Festival.'

Woori FIS is an IT specialized subsidiary of Woori Financial Group. This festival was organized to nurture and discover future IT talents. The nonprofit educational social venture corporation Jump co-planned the event.

The festival proceeds after selecting a programming language. The finals will be held offline on the 18th of next month. The grand prize winner will receive a prize of 5 million KRW, and the excellence, merit, and encouragement award winners will receive prizes ranging from 500,000 to 3 million KRW. All awardees will be given preferential treatment in Woori FIS recruitment processes in the second half of this year.
