Jeil Pharmaceutical Appoints Executive Director Si-beom Lee as Head of Formulation and Analytical Research Institute

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Jeil Pharmaceutical announced on the 8th that it has recruited Executive Director Lee Si-beom as the head of the Formulation Technology Research Institute and the Analytical Research Center.

Executive Director Lee will oversee overall research and development within the Formulation Technology Research Institute and the Analytical Research Center, leading the commercialization of new drugs.

Executive Director Lee graduated from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chungnam National University in 2001 and earned his master's and doctoral degrees in pharmacy from the same university's graduate school. Since 2006, he has led research institutes by overseeing formulation and research development at CJ CheilJedang Technology Research Institute, Hanwha Dream Pharma, Alvogen Korea, and Adpharma.

Seo Byung-gu, Head of Management Planning at Jeil Pharma Holdings, said, “This expert recruitment will contribute to Jeil Pharmaceutical’s various formulation research, including new drug development,” and added, “We expect it to also contribute to building an innovative pipeline such as new formulation development.”
