According to Jangseong-gun on the 7th, the 'Baekyanggol Resident Gardeners' is a volunteer group composed of Bukham-myeon residents. Eight people participate, including citizen gardeners trained independently by Jangseong-gun and local residents with extensive pruning experience.
Since its launch last year, they have been steadily managing parks and street flower beds frequently visited by tourists and locals, such as the entrance to Baekyangsa Temple, Yaksuri Ssamtji Park, Jungpyeong Park, and Songjeong Park.
The trees and flowers that have undergone pruning add freshness to the village, receiving high praise from residents.
Kim, a Baekyanggol Resident Gardener participating in the volunteer activities, said, "I feel proud to be able to beautify the village through talent donation," and added, "I will continue to strive to convey the charm of Bukham-myeon to local residents and tourists."
