[Photo] The First Swimming Competition Held at Seokchon Lake

On the 7th, participants of the ‘2022 LOTTE Oe Race’ are swimming in Seokchon Lake, Songpa-gu, Seoul. The Oe Race is an aquathlon event, consisting of two disciplines excluding cycling from the triathlon known as the Ironman. The race includes swimming 1.5km in Seokchon Lake and a vertical marathon sky run (SKY RUN) climbing 2,917 steps to the 123rd floor of Lotte World Tower. This course, combining swimming and stair climbing, is the first of its kind in the world. This is the first time a swimming competition has been held at Seokchon Lake. /Reporter Moon Honam munonam@
