President Yoon: "Danuri, Korea's Vanguard to Accelerate the Space Economy Era" (Update)

[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] President Yoon Suk-yeol stated on the 5th that Korea's first lunar exploration orbiter, 'Danuri,' is "the vanguard of the Republic of Korea that will accelerate the era of new resource powers and the space economy."

On the same day, President Yoon congratulated the successful lunar transfer orbit insertion of Danuri through Facebook and delivered this message. In particular, President Yoon said, "Thinking of the dreams, hopes, and messages of perseverance conveyed by Danuri, which proudly spread its wings in the vast space, I look forward to the moon's expressions that Danuri will send from space and BTS's 'Dynamite' at the end of this year."

Earlier, Danuri was launched into space at around 8:08 a.m. Korean time on the 5th. As of 2 p.m., it was confirmed to have successfully entered the lunar transfer orbit.
