[Photo] Korea's First Lunar Probe Danuri Successfully Launched

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su, Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA = Joint Coverage Team] South Korea's first lunar probe, Danuri, was successfully launched at 8:08 AM on the 5th from Launch Pad 40 at the U.S. Space Force Base in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle carrying Danuri is scheduled to separate Danuri at an altitude of 1,650 km approximately 40 minutes after liftoff. Afterward, Danuri will navigate for about four and a half months to enter lunar orbit and carry out various scientific missions for about one year starting from the end of December this year.
