A middle school daughter who left saying she was going to an academy did not return until after midnight, prompting her family and the police to search together. While anxiously tracing her whereabouts, the family found her in an unexpected place. Only then could the father, who had been worried sick, feel relieved.

According to the 'Incheon Police PolIncheon' Facebook page, which shares news from the Incheon police, the police recently posted an article titled "Find the Missing Student." According to the post, the Jungbu Police Station in Incheon received an urgent report from a father saying, "My daughter who went to the academy has not been reachable even though it's past midnight."

Upon receiving the report, the police headed to the 14-story building where the daughter was last seen. Although the building was already closed since it was past midnight, they obtained cooperation from the building manager and began an internal search.

The police focused especially on the academy that Ms. A attended, as it was the last known location of the missing daughter who said she was going to study there. Shining flashlights through the cracks of the closed academy doors during the search, the police discovered a study room inside the academy. They then knocked several times on the study room door, carefully listening for any signs of life inside as they continued their search.

At that moment, a faint sound was heard, and the police presumed someone was inside the study room. They signaled with whistles and flashlights. Soon, the door opened, and the middle school daughter the father had been desperately searching for came out. It was about an hour after the building search began.

According to the police, the daughter had fallen asleep in the academy study room with earplugs in and did not realize the academy doors had been closed. Although the incident ended as a mere misunderstanding, the father could not help but worry. Upon finding his daughter, he gently touched her face, checking if she was hurt or if there were any issues with her safety, finally letting out a sigh of relief.
