[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gyeongsan City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 4th that it received a "Na" grade for sound financial institutions in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's '2021 Local Public Enterprise Management Performance Evaluation.'
In the management performance evaluation conducted on 257 institutions nationwide, Gyeongsan City received an "Ga" grade for sewage in 2020, a "Na" grade for water supply in 2021, and this year received a "Na" grade for sewage.
The management performance of local public enterprises is divided into seven business types and evaluated based on about 20 indicators in three areas: ▲sustainable management ▲management performance ▲social value.
This year (2021 performance), following last year, COVID-19 response indicators were introduced to reflect the efforts of local public enterprises to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.
In addition, the scoring for environmental, social, and transparent management (ESG management) indicators such as ethics, safety, and regional coexistence was also strengthened.
A Gyeongsan City official said, “We will do our best so that the creation of an urban environment and the smooth supply of clean water can be directly felt on site.”
