[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Venture Business Association is co-hosting the global IR program for early-stage startups, X-PITCH, together with TA (Taiwan Accelerator).
X-PITCH offers promising domestic venture companies an online and offline IR program for networking and investment attraction with Asian and global companies.
This event, held in Taiwan, provides up to $1 million in investment to the final three teams through phased advancement. Last year, 3,680 startups worldwide and 148 global companies participated, achieving follow-up investments totaling $17 million.
Starting on the 16th, X-PITCH will offer various programs such as pitching training, workshops, webinars, investor matching, and online exhibitions, providing opportunities for investment review and corporate networking to support local market entry and overseas expansion.
The Venture Association, as a co-host of X-PITCH, will recruit outstanding Korean companies, participate in the first evaluation, and jointly select companies, ultimately choosing three excellent companies through three stages.
Additionally, the association plans to expand support projects to help promising domestic venture companies discuss overseas investment and business opportunities by cooperating with Korean venture entrepreneurs abroad and related local organizations.
