Pelosi, Planning to Visit Japan via Taiwan, Coordinating Breakfast with Kishida

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, is reportedly coordinating to have breakfast with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Japan, the last country on her Asia tour, according to Japan's Fuji News Network (FNN) on the 3rd.

FNN, citing a Japanese government official, reported, "Speaker Pelosi is scheduled to visit Japan on the 4th and is coordinating her schedule to have breakfast with Prime Minister Kishida at the Prime Minister's Official Residence in Tokyo on the 5th to exchange views."

The Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported that Pelosi is also coordinating to meet with Hiroyuki Hosoda, Speaker of the House of Representatives, on the 5th, when the breakfast is expected to take place.

After visiting South Korea on the 3rd following Taiwan, Speaker Pelosi is expected to visit Japan.
