[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] LG Electronics announced on the 3rd that it recently signed a business agreement with Yeonam Institute of Technology, Dong Seoul University, and Osan University to cultivate outstanding service talents.


After the agreement, LG Electronics and each university will mutually cooperate in talent education and development, support for educational facilities and practical equipment, corporate culture experiential training, recommendation of outstanding personnel, and talent recruitment according to hiring regulations.


Additionally, in cooperation with each university, a "Service Introduction Course" will be established for graduating students aspiring to become service engineers.


Applicants will learn customer delight service response strategies, the overall process of home appliance service, and the principles and functions of products. They will undergo training courses such as product disassembly and assembly, use of repair equipment, and repair practice. LG Electronics' service masters and specialized instructors for service engineer training will teach the course.


LG Electronics will provide hiring preference benefits when applying for new employee positions to students who complete the course. Outstanding performers will also receive additional points.
