[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gui-yeol] Gyeongbuk Province will hold a joint concert of the Gyeongbuk-Jeonnam Children's Orchestra as part of the East-West Harmony Angel Project at the Pohang Guryongpo Youth Training Center on the 4th.

The East-West Harmony Angel Project is a program practiced by Gyeongbuk, Jeonnam, and the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation through mutual cooperation to encourage healthy growth of low-income children by promoting a culture of care and sharing through cultural exploration between the two regions and joint orchestra performances.

Since 2017, it has been continuing for six years this year by holding music camps and regular concerts.

This concert, hosted by the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, will feature 35 members of the Gyeongbuk Angel Orchestra and 44 members of the Jeonnam Dream Orchestra performing nine pieces including Pirates of the Caribbean, Captain America, and Traffic Light.

Additionally, a donation ceremony will be held by the Daegu Bank Labor Union to support musical instrument provision to local children's centers.

The Gyeongbuk Angel Orchestra is a performing group composed of children from child care facilities and local children's centers within the province.

The orchestra was founded in May 2016 with support from the province's specialized program to expand cultural enjoyment opportunities for children from vulnerable groups who have a passion for music.

Kim Ho-seop, Director of the Gyeongbuk Province Department of Child and Women's Happiness, said, "I hope this concert will be a time for the young talents of Yeongnam and Honam to share deep friendship and showcase the skills they have built up," adding, "We will actively support cultural and artistic experiences for children from vulnerable groups."
