[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] On the 2nd, Lee Won-duk, CEO of Woori Bank, told his employees, "I hope each individual sets goals and achieves small successes to become the foundation for Woori Bank's successful leap forward."
This remark was made by CEO Lee Won-duk as he personally participated in the ‘Letter to Myself? Emotional Touch Event’ launched for all employees. The event is known to reflect CEO Lee's intention to emphasize a voluntary sales culture and self-motivation among employees.
The letter to myself was conducted under the theme ‘The me in July, starting the second half of the year, writes a letter to the me in December.’ Employees write their sales resolutions or goals they want to achieve through the internal system and send the letter, which is then returned to them at the end of the year.
A Woori Bank official stated, "We expect to break away from the past vertical sales culture and foster an autonomous and horizontal sales culture where all employees take ownership and actively participate."
