Noh Beom-su of Ulsan Ulju-gun Office clinched his 14th individual champion title at the "Withus Pharmaceutical 2022 Folk Ssireum Boeun Jangsa Ssireum Tournament."

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] No Beom-su of Ulsan Ulju County Office claimed his 14th individual championship at the 'Withus Pharmaceutical 2022 Folk Ssireum Boeun Jangsa Ssireum Tournament.' This includes 13 Taebaek championships and 1 Geumgang championship.

On the 31st, No Beom-su defeated Son Hee-chan (26) of Jeungpyeong County Office 3-2 in the Taebaek championship final for the under 80kg weight class held at Boeun National Sports Center in Boeun County, Chungbuk, and was crowned Taebaek champion.

No Beom-su achieved a season grand slam with five titles this year, including the Geoje Tournament, Goesan Tournament, Dano Tournament, and Pyeongchang Tournament.

He defeated Kim Yoon-soo (Yongin Special City Office) 2-0 in the quarterfinals, then beat Heo Seon-haeng (Yeongam County Folk Ssireum Team) 2-1 in the semifinals to advance to the finals.

In the final, he engaged in a fierce battle against Son Hee-chan, who was challenging for his first-ever championship title.

No Beom-su took the lead by scoring a point with a homigeori in the first round, but Son Hee-chan leveled the score by successfully executing a deulbaejigi in the second round.

In the third round, Son Hee-chan scored again with an andari, but No Beom-su tied it 2-2 in the fourth round.

In the final round, the two players fought fiercely without easily deciding the winner, but No Beom-su clinched the championship title by knocking down Son Hee-chan with a deotgeori.
