[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra announced on the 29th that it has signed a business agreement with the LG Arts Center to expand the base of culture and arts.


The signing ceremony held on the 28th at the LG Arts Center Seoul was attended by Son Eunkyung, CEO of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Lee Hyunjung, Director of the LG Arts Center, and other officials from both organizations.


Through this business agreement, both parties plan to promote collaborative projects related to the development and operation of cultural and arts education programs, as well as the promotion and marketing of co-produced content.


A representative of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra said, "With the business agreement with the LG Arts Center, designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando and opening in October, we will be able to implement public cultural and arts education programs that combine the expertise of both institutions. We ask for your anticipation of the Seoul Philharmonic's planned programs that consider the characteristics of this new artistic space."


Meanwhile, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra is conducting stable performance operations and program collaborations through business agreements not only with the LG Arts Center but also with major performance venues in Seoul such as the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts and Lotte Concert Hall.
