‘Uijeongbu Station Brownstone Riverview’ in Uijeongbu Area Transforming into a Large-Scale Residential Town Draws Attention

The Uijeongbu area is attracting the attention of demanders as it forms a large-scale residential town.


With large-scale land development and urban development projects actively underway in the Uijeongbu area, it is being reborn as a large-scale residential town. The Minrak District, where the project has already been completed, supplied about 25,000 households across Districts 1 and 2, and the adjacent Gosan District is currently being developed into about 10,000 households over approximately 1.3 million square meters covering Gosan, Minrak, and Sanggok-dong areas. In addition, the Rhythm City development, which is developing a tourism and leisure complex on a 654,379㎡ site in Sanggok-dong, Uijeongbu City, is gaining momentum, shaping the area into a large-scale residential town.


Synergy effects are also expected from the development of the Uijeongbu Legal Town. The Uijeongbu Legal Town, which is being established by relocating the Uijeongbu District Court and Prosecutor’s Office, is the largest administrative and legal town in the northeastern metropolitan area, and an increase in demand from the surrounding area is anticipated.


Due to various development benefits, the subscription fever in the Uijeongbu area is also hot. In June, Woomi Construction launched the long-term general private rental apartment "Rhythm City Woomirin" on Block 2 of the complex cultural convergence complex residential land in Uijeongbu City. The subscription results showed that about 41,000 people applied for 767 units, recording an average competition rate of 53.65 to 1, closing the subscription. In April, "The Sharp Rhythm City," sold in Uijeongbu Rhythm City, also closed the first-priority subscription with a highest competition rate of 13.38 to 1 and was completely sold out.


An industry insider said, "Various development benefits that will increase the value of the region, such as the development of US military concession sites and the planned GTX-C line, are continuously emerging in the Uijeongbu area." He added, "In particular, with the large-scale development of the Legal Town underway, a large influx of related workers is expected, and the improvement of residential infrastructure is also expected to become more active."


Meanwhile, news of new apartment sales has been announced in the Shingok-dong area of Uijeongbu.


Isu Construction plans to sell the "Uijeongbu Station Brownstone Riverview" apartments in the Shingok-dong area of Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi-do, in August. The complex will consist of 8 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 31 floors above ground, with a total of 769 units sized between 37 and 104㎡, of which 584 units will be available for general sale.


Uijeongbu Station Brownstone Riverview is within walking distance of Uijeongbu Station on Subway Line 1 and the Uijeongbu Light Rail Transit. Notably, a new GTX-C line connecting Uijeongbu, Samsung, and Suwon is planned at Uijeongbu Station. Once the GTX-C line opens, the travel time to Seoul Samsung Station, currently about 1 hour and 10 minutes, will be significantly reduced to within 20 minutes.

The complex is adjacent to Jungnangcheon Stream and surrounded by abundant green spaces such as Chudong Park, Balgok Neighborhood Park, and Yeokjeon Neighborhood Park. Shindong Elementary School is located near the complex, and educational facilities including Shingok Elementary, Shingok Middle, Dongo Elementary, Gyeongui Elementary, Uijeongbu Elementary, and Cheongryong Elementary are all within a 1 km radius, ensuring safe commuting for students.


Residents can also enjoy various living infrastructures. Uijeongbu Station Brownstone Riverview is close to shopping facilities such as Shinsegae Department Store, Homeplus, Lotte Mart, Fruit and Vegetable Market, and Uijeongbu Jeil Market, as well as cultural facilities including the Arts Center, Rodeo Street, Lotte Cinema, and CGV Uijeongbu. Large hospitals such as Uijeongbu Paik Hospital, Eulji University Hospital, and Catholic University Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital are also accessible by car.
