Participants had time to understand that jobs are created due to human needs and desires, and to explore what they are good at and what they want to do.
Additionally, the education included understanding technological advancements in the era of artificial intelligence, which is central to creativity in career paths during the 4th Industrial Revolution, and reflecting on how we should prepare for the future in response to changes in future society’s occupations.
Ko Du-gap, director of the Jeonnam Regional Economic Education Center, stated, “It is necessary to engage in career activities that explore jobs in the 4th Industrial Revolution era, understand job types, identify occupations suited to one’s aptitude, and cultivate creative thinking that responds to changes in occupational groups according to the times.” He added, “We will further expand customized education where the Economic Mentor Class is most needed.”
