Yang Byeong-chae, Former KT Executive Director, Appointed as Director of the Marine Talent Development Institute

[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Dongwoo Lee] The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced on the 25th that Yang Byeong-chae, former Executive Director of Talent Development at KT Group’s Talent Development Office, has been appointed as the Director of the Korea Maritime and Ocean University Talent Development Institute.

Director Yang has worked in human resources and talent development at CJ CheilJedang, CJ ENM, and other companies. At KT, he was responsible for group education innovation and talent development, accumulating over 20 years of diverse experience in talent development and education in the private sector.

Director Yang stated, "In preparation for the rapidly changing future environment such as the post-COVID era and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we will establish various learning foundations including simulation education, online-offline blended learning, and smart learning. Through public-private collaboration, we will lead innovation in maritime and fisheries talent development by developing new teaching methods and curricula."
