[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Ulju World Mountain Film Festival will screen ‘Yoon Si-nae Has Disappeared’ at the monthly Umsalon on July 27.


‘Yoon Si-nae Has Disappeared’ is a film released in June this year that received much attention and love. It is a road movie about the imitation singer ‘Yeon Si-nae’ who, together with her daughter, the attention-seeking YouTuber ‘Jjangha,’ sets out to find the real Yoon Si-nae who suddenly disappeared one day.


Actor Joo-young Lee, who showed distinctive acting in the films ‘Believer’ and ‘Samjin Company English TOEIC Class,’ appears as the problematic daughter Jjangha, and actress Min-ha Oh, who played Yeon Si-nae, won the Best Actress Award in the Korean Competition at the 23rd Jeonju International Film Festival. The film also features the singer Yoon Si-nae, known as the diva of 1980s music.


Especially, to encourage understanding and harmony within families, family audiences can enter free of charge, and commemorative film festival souvenirs will be given to the first 20 attendees.


After the screening, there will be a time to freely share thoughts and opinions about the film. In the future, the ‘Monthly Umsalon’ plans to provide opportunities for various filmmakers and audiences to meet and deepen their understanding of films.


The ‘Monthly Umsalon’ event will be held on July 27 at 2 p.m. in Yeongnam Alps Complex Welcome Center, Alps Cinema Theater 2. Detailed information is available on the website, and tickets can be purchased on-site for 3,000 won.
