[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT announced on the 25th that it has completed the project to transition about 40 internal and external information technology (IT) systems of Renault Korea Motors to the cloud.
KT carried out this transition project based on a multi-hybrid cloud service combining Internet Data Center (IDC) network services and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Through this, Renault Korea secured flexibility and scalability to respond to the rapidly changing finished car market environment, and also achieved operational cost reduction by improving the IT infrastructure environment. The Renault Group, to which Renault Korea belongs, is actively adopting cloud systems to enhance stability, efficiency, and scalability.
KT evaluated that through this project, it has further strengthened its position as a provider offering not only cloud and IDC but also global cloud and hybrid network services. KT plans to continue providing differentiated services by actively accommodating customer requirements through multi-hybrid cloud.
