[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Walkerhill Hotel & Resort is hosting the ‘Forest Kids Camp’ for guests with children during the summer vacation season. This program was designed so that children can enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, from hotel vacations with family to crafts, sports, and nature experiences throughout the vacation.
The first Forest Kids Camp, planned and held in January 2022 during the last winter vacation season, received great response from Walkerhill customers seeking special activities with their children, with all available sessions quickly sold out.
The camp, held over three sessions from the 3rd to the 19th of next month, is a 2-night, 3-day program that includes a 2-night stay in the Grand Walkerhill Seoul Club Suite Room, Forest Park Kids Camp activity programs, two lounge benefits, and one children’s lunch room service.
This camp offers various programs led by Walkerhill leisure experts such as Walkie and other activity specialists. Starting with camping experiences like campfire and marshmallow roasting on the first day, the second day features River Park water play to cool off, Kids Art & Craft making eco-friendly art bots, Tennis School with coaches from Jun Brothers Tennis Academy, and a children’s forest exploration of Achasan Forest held in clean areas such as the Healing Forest and Forest Park. On the final day, the third day, participating children will receive camp completion certificates to cherish their memories of the camp.
Hwang Eunmi, General Manager of Walkerhill Hotel & Resort, said, “Due to the prolonged pandemic, children who have not been able to play outdoors excitedly with friends can now enjoy nature and create special memories through the Forest Kids Camp, a special vacation season package. We hope that through this camp, which combines the strengths of previous kids programs, new customer needs, and expert know-how, children will spend their summer vacation more safely and healthily.”
