TV in the Middle of the Living Room?… LG Electronics Launches 'Obje Collection Pose' with Beautiful Back Design

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sunmi] LG Electronics announced on the 25th that it will break the fixed stereotype of standardized TV installation methods and launch a lifestyle TV new product that offers unprecedented customer experiences.

The LG OLED Objet Collection Pose is a space design TV that looks beautifully like an interior furniture piece no matter where it is placed in the home or from which angle it is viewed. It was first unveiled at the special exhibition of Milan Design Week, the world's largest design exhibition held last month in Milan, Italy.

The product name Pose is the French spelling of the English word "pose," meaning "posture." The name was inspired by the product's characteristic of enhancing the dignity of the installation space. It will be released in three sizes: 42, 48, and 55 inches. The 55-inch model offers a choice of green color in addition to the basic beige color.

When viewed from the side, the new product features a curved design where the panel and the main body form a U shape. The stand supporting the main body is designed to hide power cords and other cables inside, helping to create a clean space. The back can also be styled as an interior object reflecting personal taste. By attaching dedicated accessories to the hidden space behind the TV, it is possible to store set-top boxes, power strips, and other items.

The new product is based on the LG OLED Evo, recognized for its overwhelming picture quality by numerous experts and consumers. It is equipped with the 5th generation AI Alpha 9 processor developed based on LG Electronics' accumulated OLED picture and sound data, and features up to 4-channel surround sound with 40-watt (W) output speakers.

LG Electronics will sell the LG OLED Objet Collection Pose starting from the 27th at premium appliance stores including major LG Best Shops. It will also be available at online brand shops, Today’s House, and 29CM. The retail price ranges from 2,590,000 KRW to 3,390,000 KRW depending on the size.

LG Electronics will give a premium wireless speaker, LG XBOOM 360, free of charge to the first 200 customers who purchase the 55-inch model. Customers who purchase the 48-inch or 42-inch models will receive a cashback benefit worth 100,000 KRW.
