Sinan-gun Operates 'Visiting Mind Comfort Bus'

Providing Self-Care Opportunities for COVID-19 Field Response Personnel

[Sinan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] On the 19th, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, operated the 'Visiting Mind Relief Bus' in collaboration with the Honam Trauma Center to restore the mental health of COVID-19 frontline response personnel.

The 'Mind Relief Bus' is a customized bus providing rest and various psychological support services. It conducted mental health evaluations, stress measurements, one-on-one mental health counseling for 20 COVID-19 frontline response personnel, and provided psychological support supplies.

The Sinan-gun Mental Health Welfare Center plans to focus on COVID-19 psychological quarantine by offering psychological support programs, referrals to specialized institutions for treatment, and continuous follow-up management services based on mental health tests and counseling results.

Governor Park Woo-ryang stated, "I hope this was a moment for the exhausted minds of the staff who have worked tirelessly on the front lines of quarantine to rest, and we will continue to do our best to restore the mental health of COVID-19 response personnel."

Sinan-gun is providing various supports to promote the mental health of COVID-19 frontline response personnel, including implementing mental health healing programs for all health institution staff.
