Gyeonggi-do Supports Up to 5 Million KRW for Promotional Material Production for Companies Participating in Industrial Tourism

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will support up to 5 million KRW for the production of promotional materials for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the province that participate in 'industrial tourism,' which combines tourism and industrial site tours, providing tour and experience programs.

Industrial tourism is a tourism model that utilizes industrial resources, sites, and products with cultural or social value as tourism resources. Gyeonggi Province has been actively fostering industrial tourism since 2021.

This year, the province will select about 20 SMEs with tour and experience program facilities in the province and support up to 5 million KRW for the production of promotional materials such as printed materials, video content, and web content.

The support target is companies that have conducted industrial site tours or on-site experience programs since January 1, 2019.

Companies wishing to participate can check the project announcement on the Gyeonggi Province or Gyeonggi Tourism Organization websites and apply by attaching the application form and required documents via email (gtoom@gto.or.kr) within the recruitment period.

The support recipients will be selected after expert review of the submitted promotional material production plans.

A provincial official stated, "This support project will help promote the industrial tourism content owned by companies," adding, "We will continue to spare no effort to revitalize industrial tourism."
