Hapcheon-gun Takes Steps to Strengthen Public Officials' Work Competency Providing integrated case training for staff involved in health-related work


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, conducted the '2022 Integrated Case Management Training' on the 19th at the Lifelong Learning Center for about 30 employees involved in welfare and health work.


The training was organized to enhance the capacity of public officials and workers in charge and to promote efficient integrated case management work, with topics on 'Understanding Mental Illness' and 'Case Management Strategies for People with Mental Disabilities.'


Jeon Jae-hyun, director of 'Mokdong Haneulsaem,' who was invited as the instructor, has served as a policy committee member of the Korea Mental Rehabilitation Facilities Association and an evaluation committee member of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.


Park Eun-sook, head of the Resident Welfare Division, said, "This training was prepared to learn various case management practice techniques and provide better welfare services to the residents of Hapcheon-gun," adding, "We will continue to strive to improve the quality of welfare administrative services in various ways."


Meanwhile, integrated case management refers to a project that links and provides customized welfare and health services to welfare recipients who cannot solve complex problems and needs on their own, and continuously monitors them.
