"Supporting the Future of Aspiring Flight Attendants!" ... Air Busan Conducts Career Experience 'Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom'

"Supporting the Future of Aspiring Flight Attendants!" ... Air Busan Conducts Career Experience 'Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom' Students participating in Air Busan's career experience program, 'Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom,' are learning how to operate aircraft emergency exits.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Air Busan conducted the ‘Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom,’ which guides students aspiring to become flight attendants in proper career planning and provides high-quality job training.

The Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom, held over three days starting from the 19th, is one of Air Busan’s career experience programs now in its third year.

The program offers students hands-on job experience and customized career counseling.

About 100 local high school students flocked to Air Busan’s Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom, leading to an increase in the number of selected participants from 20 to 40.

The Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom restructures the cabin crew job training course to suit the students’ level, conducting sessions such as ▲ passenger briefing ▲ first aid ▲ in-flight fire suppression ▲ emergency slide usage ▲ in-flight service practice, focusing more on practical training than theory.

In addition to the Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom, Air Busan is actively engaged in various educational donation activities to strengthen the competitiveness of local talent and foster aviation professionals.

Since the 4th of this month, Air Busan has been running the ‘Air Busan Dream Campus,’ providing practical experience and job training over two months to university students majoring in aviation-related fields in the Busan area.

In November, Air Busan plans to implement the ‘Air Busan Dream School,’ where employees visit high schools in the region that request special lectures to give one-day classes or conduct career experience counseling programs for high school students dreaming of a career in aviation.

In April, Air Busan held the ‘Air Busan Dream Academy,’ offering education on all airline job roles to prospective aviation professionals who are not aviation majors but wish to work in the aviation industry.

An Air Busan official stated, “We plan to continuously strengthen programs that support the dreams of local youth and young adults and help them with career planning.”

Air Busan’s ‘Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom’ is conducted as part of the ‘Kkumdamgi (Companies Embracing Dreams) Career Experience Program’ created by the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education to nurture future local talent and promote career experience activities.
