Jennie, a member of the girl group BLACKPINK, will make her acting debut through an American drama. The cable channel HBO released a trailer on its official YouTube channel on the 18th for "The Idol." The trailer revealed scenes of Jennie practicing dance alongside Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of Johnny Depp, and singer-songwriter Troye Sivan. "The Idol" is a drama produced and starred in by pop star The Weeknd. It sheds light on the behind-the-scenes of the music industry surrounding idols. Jennie's role has not yet been disclosed.
